Grace Uomoto, Nurse, Holistic Fertility Coach & Birth Control Doula
Grace is an RN and Certified Fertility Awareness Educator. She believes that when women and uterus owners have access to accurate information about their reproductive health and fertility, they are better supported to make informed decisions and become stronger self-advocates in the health care system. In her own life and family, Grace has seen the harmful effects of inequitable access to reproductive health care and education. These experiences have sparked her passion for reproductive justice.
Grace's joy is in teaching classes on cycle charting for conception, organic birth control, improved hormonal health and body-positive sex ed. She is excited to serve anyone who desires to take a step on the lifelong journey of healing by learning more about their cycles and fertility. Grace has personally struggled with secondary infertility, which has expanded her empathy and compassion for those who are trying to conceive, in a way that can only come from first-hand experience.
As a woman of color (proud Chicana), Grace has a special place in her heart to serve other women and people of color. She includes discussions on the impacts of racism, sexism, and classism on health and fertility in her teachings and the indigenous roots of cycle charting. All people and styles of families are welcome.
